Properly selected cooling coils and air distribution play an important part in maintaining
required temperatures and in effective product cooling/freezing.
The cooling coils are made from Steel tubes for ammonia refrigerating systems and
Copper for Halocarbons. Spirally tension wound or plate type fins increase the heat
transfer area. Effective bonding between tube and the fin material is ascertained.
Steel tubes with fins are protected from corrosion by galvanizing as a choice. The
housing is modular to facilitate its combination with combination with the air handling
unit.
Tubes are arranged in selected number of rows as per the application requirements.
The tubes are connected in a header for low temperature application or by U bends
for general application.
Air Handling Units are provided with centrifugal or axial or propeller fans which
are selected to suit the pressure drop across the coils and air distribution requirements.
The minimum power consumption is considered in view of reducing the heat load of
the motors. Two speed fans are also offered depending upon the variable cooling
requirements during product cooling/freezing and room temperature maintenance.
Floor or ceiling suspended mounting is offered.
